My friend Katie kept the little girls today while I took and dropped off Spencer. I t was nice to hang out just the two of us before he left. It sad to think that my phone won't ring with his annoying voice telling me to pick it up again. He made me a ring tone with him telling me to answer my phone as a joke and I left it because it made me crazy and feel loved all at the same time. Tonight as I was tucking the kids into bed Christina was crying and
telling me that she missed her Daddy I told that as she prayed for
comfort the Holy Ghost would help her. I also told her about an idea
that my friend Hedi sent me to take a jar and fill it with Hershey
Kisses and each night before bed you get to eat one and it's a kiss from
Daddy. She loved the idea so I know what I'll be doing this week. I'm
grateful for the gospel and the priesthood that Spencer holds he was
able to give all of us priesthood blessings before he left. What a great
source of comfort for us.

Yesterday we let the kids stay home from school so we could hang out and play with Dad. And get some work done around the house before Spencer left. Its amazing all the little things that add up. I think we managed to get it all done. I'm sure over the next couple of months we'll come up with stuff that needs to be done. I was able to take apart my shelf reliance shelves and put them back together in a new spot. Dillon thought he was awesome climbing between them When Spencer took the foam our of his tough box to pack it everyone thought it was the greatest toy. Lily sat for ever pulling all the little pieces out. One of the highlights of our day was that Joseph cut his finger with a knife and I had to take him to the emergency room. He tried to cut a piece of foam. The nurses kept asking what he did and he got tired of telling the story over and over again. One nurse asked him what he learned and he said to use a dull knife he was quickly set straight that a sharp one is always better. Everyone was nice and worked hard to get us in and out. We were gone close to 3 hours. With 40 mins of drive time and 40 mins waiting on the medicine to numb him compleyly so not to bad since the sign said 3 1/2 - 4 hour wait when we arrived.
Taylor found this container and was taking it on and off her head saying tada
Joe did great I let him play games on my phone to keep him busy. At the end I had 8% battery left.

Family Photo's
My friend Lesa took some pics of us before Spencer left. She was able to get some fun shots even though the kids were all over the place. Taylor would turn away from her anytime she tried to take her picture. Kray wanted to do his own thing. Christina and I kept closing our eyes in the pictures I told her its hereditary that my Dad and Grandma did it to. I'm glad that we were able to get some photo's done before he left.

Arrow of light Ceremony
It was awesome to watch Kray get his arrow of light. He worked really hard to finish everything before Spencer left for deployment. I am so proud of him and all his hard work the highlight for me was that Spencer was able to do the ceremony and present it to him. I love my boys.
