California part1

While driving to the beach I felt impressed to say a prayer for safety because I forgot to before we left. Not even 10 min later my rear right tire blew out. We were safe and able to pull over. While waiting for Michael some guy stopped and helped us. He even stayed after Michael got there and helped  the job go faster, he had great power tools. They had to use my jack and Michaels because I was over a ledge. I know The Lord blesses us for listening and doing as we are told. And that in this crazy world there are still amazing people who are willing to stop and help others. What a great example for my children.

Weekend projects

Christina had to make a bug for school. She wanted to make a butterfly I saw a cute one on Pinterest that we copied and made our own. The top wings are those little plastic things that you melt to make into shapes the bottom is jelly beans. Then we ate the rest of them.
Dillon's project is a cell. We made rice crispy and put frosting around the outside. Then he used different treats for all the parts. Of corse he ate most of it when he was done and got a grade.

Afghanistan

Here are some photo's Spencer took the other day when he was out flying. He says its a beautiful country. All I think is I want my hubby home.

Easter Sunday

I tried to get a picture of all my kids on Easter morning before church but they are not very accommodating. If the boys or Christina tried to hold Taylor she would cry and throw a fit. After church we decorated eggs and then had dinner with the Jones. One year I will get everyone to be happy and sit where I want them but until then I will enjoy my little monster as the precious gift that they our from my Loving Heavenly Father.

Pine Wood derby

We had the pine wood derby on Saturday this year. It was great not being pressed for time. We had pop corn from the movie theater. It took as a while to get there as the street we normally take was closed and we had to find a different way in. Cassie and I had to finish the pine wood derby cars as both our husband are deployed and they didn't finish them before leaving. The boys  had a great time and that is what is most important.
