One morning when Lily was dressed and I was getting Taylor dressed She saw that her and Taylor had the same shirt so she changed to match.

Temple

Spencer and I went to Albuquerque for a weekend away. One of the highlights was spending Saturday morning at the temple with Dillon. It was awesome to watch Dillon and Spencer serving the Lord together. Afterwards we went to Desert Book and then to Golden Corral for lunch. 

Pretend Birthday

 I told Spencer he could get something to take with him on deployment. He decided that he wanted to take our cannon rebel and buy me the new cannon rebel T41i. I'm very excited about it as it has a video camera. I will be able to take nice videos of the kids at soccer or school events and send them to him while he is deployed. We also bought the new coaches for my living room. The room looks awesome and I love it. Since we got me some many new things Spencer was joking that it was birthday. And decided that we needed to celebrate with donuts. Christina was sad because we share a birthday so she got to pretend it was her birthday too. AND what 2 year old wants to miss out on a birthday so Lily got had to have a candle in her doughnut too. It was a great day and I love my husband and how he loves to spoil me.  

Saying goodbye

As the time for Spencer to leave draws closer I find my self wanting to indulge in junk food and cry into my pillow. How is it done I ask myself to be separated for months at time. Then I think of all the soldiers, pioneers, and stories from the scriptures. I have the example of many to follow who have been where I am. I know I have a Heavenly who loves me and will not leave me alone. He will comfort me and give me strength as Spencer and I pray and stay true to the covenants we have made.

We had a great time opening presents. Taylor had more fun sitting on them then opening them. Christina came down while Spencer was putting her doll house together so I told her that parents help Santa put presents together. Lily is thrilled with her bike buts its still a little big. All in all a great Christmas.

My kids are getting so big I remember bring them all home from the hospital and holding them in my arms as a precious gift from a loving Heavenly Father. They bring joy and meaning to my life everyday.  I hope they have a great first day of school and a fantastic school year.
